FBI releases images of S. Chicago Hts. bank robbery

South Chicago Heights police and the FBI are searching for a man who robbed a TCF Bank branch at a Jewel store in the south suburban city this morning, officials said.

The incident happened at 10:30 a.m. at 3220 Chicago Rd., FBI spokesman Ross Rice said in an e-mail.

The man was described as a black male who is about 50 years old. He fled on foot, disappearing into the passing crowd, Rice said.
