Michael Feinstein and Linda Eder to Headline 'Two for the Road' Cabaret Act

Michael Feinstein is headed to his eponymous nightclub at Loews Regency Hotel for a joint engagement with Linda Eder. The two singers are set to co-star in a cabaret show dubbed “Two for the Road,” running September 6-October 1 at the NYC venue. Feinstein and Eder will be accompanied by a seven-piece band conduced by Billy Jay Stein.

“Two for the Road” will spotlight classics from Harold Arlen, George Gershwin and Sammy Cahn; hits from newer writers like Peter Allen, Joni Mitchell and Michel Legrand; and selections from Feinstein’s forthcoming CD The Sinatra Legacy.

Feinstein earned his fifth Grammy Award nomination in 2009 for The Sinatra Project and stars in a new PBS concert special The Sinatra Legacy. His most recent CD releases include The Power of Two, a collaboration with Cheyenne Jackson, Cheek to Cheek, recorded with Barbara Cook, and We Dreamed These Days, featuring the Carmel Symphony Orchestra.

Eder’s interpretations of pop standards have been preserved in albums including And So Much More, It’s No Secret Anymore, Christmas Stays the Same, Gold, Storybook, Broadway My Way and By Myself: The Songs of Judy Garland. A Broadway vet of Jekyll & Hyde, she has headlined concerts televised ...
