NBC's issued an apology to everyone who spent their Father's Day stewing in anger over the network's decision to leave out "under God" and "indivisible" from a golf show-related recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. "Regrettably, a portion of the Pledge of Allegiance that was in that feature was edited out" of the U.S. Open, said announcer Dan Hicks.?
