In this week’s edition of Whole Lotta Shakin': The Rock 'n' Roll Icons of 'Million Dollar Quartet', Broadway.com is taking a closer look at one of the unsung heroes of rockabilly music, Carl Perkins. Perkins, whose song “Blue Suede Shoes” was the first record to sell over a million copies and was a hit well before Elvis Presley got his hands on it, was a songwriter, electric lead guitar player and pioneer of rock ‘n’ roll. Robert Britton Lyons plays Perkins in the show, and he sat down to shed some light on this hard rockin' original.
