Man gets 16 years in prison for 1994 slaying

The Daily Herald reports: Moises Bahena was sentenced to 16 years in prison today on a second-degree murder conviction for the Christmas Day 1994 slaying of Wenceslao Gonzalez, 23, at the Prospect Heights apartment complex where the two men lived. Bahena fled to Mexico after the shooting, officials said.
