Original Love Never Dies Stars Ramin Karimloo and Sierra Boggess Set for Phantom's 25th Anniversary Celebration in London

To celebrate The Phantom of the Opera’s 25th anniversary on the West End, a lavish, fully staged production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber hit will be presented at London’s Royal Albert Hall on October 1 and 2, starring the previously reported Ramin Karimloo and Sierra Boggess. Phantom of the Opera at the Albert Hall will be directed by Laurence Connor, with original choreographer Gillian Lynne on board to provide musical staging.

In addition to Karimloo and Boggess, the cast of the celebratory event will feature Barry James as Monsieur Firmin, Gareth Snook as Monsieur André, Liz Robertson as Madame Giry, Wynne Evans as Piangi and a cast and orchestra of over 200 members.

Karimloo, who has played the starring role in Phantom sequel Love Never Dies since it opened in 2010, has also played the role in the West End production of The Phantom of the Opera. Boggess, who originated the role of Christine Daae opposite Karimloo in Love Never Dies, also played the role in the Las Vegas production of Phantom in 2006. She is currently starring in the Broadway revival of Master Class opposite Tyne Daly.
