Glee star and Broadway veteran Lea Michele will sing "America the Beautiful" at this year's Super Bowl pregame event, according to E! Online.
Other stars set to perform at the event include Christina Aguilera, who will sing the national anthem, and the Black Eyed Peas, who will take on halftime show duties.
Michele, who recently earned a Golden Globe nomination for her portrayal of Glee's resident diva Rachel Berry, has appeared on Broadway in Spring Awakening, Ragtime and Fiddler on the Roof. She is currently working on the animated feature film Dorothy of Oz and the romantic comedy New Year's Eve.
Super Bowl XLV will air on February 6 on FOX as the Green Bay Packers take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Arlington, Texas. The game will be followed by a special football-themed episode of Glee, featuring the McKinley High students singing the Michael Jackson classic "Thriller." TV news anchor Katie Couric is also set to guest star on the episode.
