Nordic Thunder, the finger-picking, loincloth-wearing, surgery-undergoing subject of this week's B-Side cover story, took second place in the World Air Guitar Championship Friday night. Thunder, aka'd as Justin Howard, rocked out to some shredding rock and Rage against the Machine, but lost the title to The Devil's Niece, a German girl in a ballerina costume.?
