As the Bible-themed musical Godspell readies to return to Broadway this fall, producers of the revival are hoping to bring new life to the 1976 musical by casting a wide net for unknown talent. The production recently held an open casting call, inviting performers to St. Malachy's Church in the Theater District to show off their skills. Over 1,000 singers showed up in the summer heat, hoping for a chance to display their talents. Broadway.com headed to the long line to chat with some of the auditioning actors to find out if they have what it takes to make it on Broadway.
