It's Her Party! Lesley Gore Performs with Million Dollar Quartet

She’s still got it! On October 28 ‘60s songstress Lesley Gore, the voice behind hits like "It's My Party," “Judy’s Turn to Cry,” and “You Don’t Own Me,” joined the cast of Broadway’s Million Dollar Quartet for a special post-show performance. With Carl Perkins (Robert Britton Lyons), Johnny Cash (Lance Guest), Jerry Lee Lewis (Levi Kreis) and Elvis Presley (Eddie Clendening) by her side, the songstress treated that night's lucky audience to a jam session on stage at the Nederlander Theatre. Gore has been busy since her ‘60s heyday, writing songs like Academy Award-nominated “Out Here on My Own” from the film Fame, and releasing her most recent album, Ever Since, in 2005.
