Broadway Grosses: Eight Shows Cross $1 Million Mark; Priscilla Has Best Week Yet

Many Broadway shows saw a bump in attendance during the week ending May 22, with eight shows crossing the $1 million mark. Two months after its opening, Priscilla Queen of the Desert had its best week ever, taking in $1,028,470. However, perennial hits Wicked and The Lion King remained on top. Audiences are also still interested in the reboot of Spider-Man; the show earned $1,260,794 in its second week back on Broadway.
