With a slew of Broadway veterans set to headline a bunch of new TV series this season, Broadway.com asked which upcoming show you're most excited to see. The votes are in and fans are eager to catch the holy TV return of Tony and Emmy winner Kristin Chenoweth in ABC's Good Christian Belles. The series earned a strong 69% of votes. Chenoweth plays Carlene Cockburn, a gossipy, religious Dallas socialite who makes life rough for her former high school pal Amanda Vaughn (Leslie Bibb.)
NBC's Broadway-centric series Smash landed in second place with 19% of votes. Starring Debra Messing, Angelica Huston and Katharine McPhee alongside Broadway vets Christian Borle, Brian d'Arcy James and Megan Hilty, the series chronicles the mounting of an original Broadway musical about the life of Marilyn Monroe.
The third place spot went to sexy NBC series The Playboy Club with 5% of votes. The series follows the gorgeous workers at the magazine's famous 1960s nightclub and stars Tony winner Laura Benanti as the club's first-ever "bunny." She'll even perform two songs, "Chicago" and "Sh-Boom," in the show's first episode.
