After wrapping Wednesday editions of Today, theater-loving co-host Kathie Lee Gifford frequently spends the afternoon at a Broadway matinee. On April 27, the popular TV hostess, actress and lyricist made her way to the Neil Simon Theatre to enjoy the new musical Catch Me If You Can. Gifford had a special reason to catch Catch Me: She and the production’s musical director, John McDaniel, collaborated on a musical version of the holiday classic It’s a Wonderful Life.
