It is 1965, all of New York is gearing up for a Yankee Stadium rally and speech by the Pope and Shaughnessy, a zookeeper and aspiring songwriter, is juggling the demands of his housebound wife Bananas (Emmy winner Edie Falco), and larger-than-life mistress, Bunny (Jennifer Jason Leigh).
