Three-time Tony nominee Marc Kudisch married his longtime girlfriend, Broadway performer Shannon Lewis, on October 24 in Key West, Florida. Kudisch will return to Second Stage’s off-Broadway production of The Blue Flower on October 27, and Lewis is due back to How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying on October 28.
"We got married standing over the ocean," Lewis told Broadway.com. "At sunset. We had perfect weather. Our officiant was Aaron Wetcher. He is local and it was a very meaningful and spiritual ceremony. Some Broadway folks [were present], but it was a very small group of family and close friends. Our rehearsal dinner was held at a lovely beachside place among 500 zombies—it's 'fantasy fest' in Key West this week. That wasn't planned, but it was fun. The bride loves her husband but will be keeping her own name. We have had SO MANY well wishes; we feel very loved and are looking forward to our two-day honeymoon before returning to our beloved NYC to jump back into our shows."
